Conservative Parliamentary Candidate Duncan Baker has launched a campaign to reverse North Norfolk District Council’s decision to cancel the North Walsham Wetherspoon’s project.
Contrary to local rumours Wetherspoon’s are half-hearted about the £1.6m deal which will create 50 new jobs in North Walsham, a recent Freedom of Information request by NN Conservatives revealed Wetherspoon’s still want to go ahead. James Marsden, Senior Acquisitions and Estates Manager said on 12th August, “J D Wetherspoon are willing and able to exchange contracts on the property now.”
